I hail from an inner suburb of Melbourne, Australia. Tram tracks, excellent coffee and the noise of the final siren at the MCG run through my veins. I'm a student at the University of Melbourne, currently studying Classics doing a Post Grauduate Diploma in Arts Management. I get excited over cats, theatre and knitting, I get enraged over politics and women's issues. I have an awesome group of close friends I met through my degree, more friends I met through my university at large, fantastic housemates, a beautiful cat called Menelaus and a wonderful boyfriend. All in all I live a pretty sweet life.
My job sucks, but hey, it pays me money.

This is a picture of my baby boy, Menelaus, named after the Greek hero (in particular how that hero is portrayed in Euripedes' Helen) He was hit by a car and killed on the 2nd of September 2007. I miss him very much.
